Ilwaco Children’s Day
Instead of the traditional Ilwaco Children's Parade, everyone is encouraged to parade around town. All ages invited to dress up and bring their dog too! Family friendly fun at the Ilwaco Saturday Market (12-2pm). Entertainment includes Astoria Clowns, the Ilwaco Fire Department and Beard's Hollow Pirates! Giveaways and prizes for people dressed in red, white and blue theme (while supplies last).

Firecracker 5K Walk/Run
This run/walk takes you along the Discovery Trail. Proceeds from this event benefit the annual “Feel the Thunder Fireworks Show” in Ilwaco.

Slow Drag at the Port of Ilwaco
The most fun you can have on four wheels! This coasting “race” is something you have to see to understand. Bring your chair and watch classic cars, rat rods, unique vehicles and themed cars coast their way to the finish line. Always held the Friday of Rod Run weekend at the Port of Ilwaco. Free to watch.
