The 2019 Wild Mushroom Celebration is here!
The Wild Mushroom Celebration has grown! In addition to annual classics, there are new workshops and restaurants to try. We encourage you to make reservations ahead of time for classes, lodging and restaurants.
Here’s a quick peek at what to expect during this year’s celebration! You can also get all the specifics on the offical Wild Mushroom website.
China Beach Retreat, Sou’wester, Boreas Bed & Breakfast Inn and Adrift all have workshops and special programming on the calendar. Get in on cooking demonstrations and guided walks. You’ll find more guided mushroom hikes at Fort Stevens State Park through October and November.
Peninsula chefs love to incorporate locally grown and foraged ingredients. MyCovio’s, Galletti’s Italian Restaurant, the Shelburne Pub and Pickled Fish will be featuring mushroom inspired dishes this year.
The DEPOT Restaurant hosts a special dinner every fall to feature local mushrooms. Reservations are strongly recommended for this amazing multi-course meal. The following weekend, enjoy incredible mushroom-inspired dishes during 42nd Street Cafe & Bistro’s annual Wild Mushroom Weekend.
