PM Shift Lead


All hourly staff will receive an additional $2 per hour (Must be employed with the company on 9/30. Bonus paid out on 10/5)

We are looking for an PM Shift Lead to join our Front of House team at Pickled Fish! This person helps run the Front of House daily operations including serving tables and helps answer any questions staff may have. Ideally, this person is a multitasker who is able to make quick decisions and enjoys leading a small team.

Previous serving experience is a must. Management experience is a plus. Must be 21+ and available mornings.

Job Duties

-Maintain high staff morale in FOH. -Create weekly FOH schedule -Maintain positive and open communication between FOH and BOH and hotel staff. -Monitor food and beverage quality, service and dining room performance. -Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of staffing for business on a daily and weekly basis. -Responsible for hiring needs, vacation requests, sick days,+ employee relations. -Evaluate the performance of individual FOH staff members. -Collaborate with HR on training and retraining needs. -Communicate and document ongoing staff performance issues to HR. -Maintain POS system and troubleshoot any issues. -Handle guest concerns/complaints. -Monitor cleanliness in FOH. -Plan and conduct regularly scheduled staff meetings. -Continue to fine-tune the operation and look for ways that we can improve and grow. -Assist hotel guests in check-in/check-out and other needs during their stay. -Ensure accurate clock-in and out times for staff daily and regulate over-time. -Communicate and work collaboratively with other managers within the company to improve operations and guest experience. -Manage the bar by creating menus, training and educating staff, managing inventory, and hitting costing KPIs. -Oversee that all FOH equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition and that all items are in stock. -Work with Exec Chef and F+B Director to hit labor and COG KPIs. Management Duties: -Work on property 40-45 hours per week. -Respond to emails in a timely manner each day you work. -Clearly and appropriately escalate and communicate issues through correct channels. -Be reasonably available to staff by phone. -Deescalate issues as they arise (staff and guests) -Arrive on property on time and ready for your shifts. -Understand and make changes to meet budget and revenue goals. -Continuously pursue personal growth and the growth of your team with the support of the company. -At all times communicate in a respectful manner.


Minimum 1 year in management in a full service (table service with full bar) restaurant. A stable work history displaying longevity in positions. Must possess strong leadership and communication skills. Working knowledge of computer software and POS programs. Ability to manage and motivate personnel. Guest oriented and service-minded. Able to handle difficult guest situations with ease and de-escalate.. Able to work ten hour-plus shifts, with extensive standing/walking. Ability to lift materials and/or product up to 50 pounds or more. Interest in bar inventory and craft cocktail knowledge a plus.
