PCT is seeking a support staff person to assist in the organization’s ongoing work. The ideal candidate is

detail-oriented, punctual, efficient, highly organized, takes initiative, is a strong communicator, is

adaptive and flexible, and can prioritize several projects at once under time constraints. The ideal

candidate also has a positive attitude, is friendly and courteous, is solution-oriented, is a team player,

and never says “that’s not my job.”

A successful candidate will be living in Pacific County and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

 

What you’ll do:

You’ll report to and assist the Executive Director and be a key member of a small, dedicated destination

management and marketing team. You’ll have both Visitor Services and Administrative duties.

 

Reports to: Executive Director

Hours: 30-40 hours/week

 

Job Duties

Visitor Services Responsibilities Maintain visitor center displays, materials, and supplies Order, inventory and distribute PCT marketing and collateral materials Coordinate bulk mailing of materials Stock partnership materials Track and report materials distribution monthly Maintain a database of partners and destination assets Attend association, information, and organization events Assist visitors as needed  Pursue ongoing familiarization with and knowledge of the destination and its visitor assets Administrative Duties Schedule and help set up meetings Prepare documents (agendas, board packets, meeting minutes, etc.) Maintain visitor tracking, marketing collateral materials inventory, and distribution data Answer phones, voicemail messages, and general email inquiries Perform office duties that may include ordering supplies and scheduling maintenance, repair, and janitorial services, among other tasks Provide administrative support to team members on special projects

Qualifications

Proven experience as an administrative assistant or other relevant administrative support experience Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite and Google Drive Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds with a handcart Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities Ability to always meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment Exemplary customer service and communications skills
