September 23rd is National Public Lands Day.

If you’re still in need of some weekend plans, look no further than the great outdoors.

In recognition of the holiday, the U.S. National Forest Service is waiving day-use fees. That includes picnic areas, boat launches, trailheads, and visitor centers.

The free pass is on Saturday only and does not include campsites.
