Beach Visitors Guide Highlights

We compile a visitors guide each year to help you plan your getaway. If you leave it at home, don’t worry. You can pick up a copy at the Visitors Bureau any day of the week. After hours, find our guides along with other information to the left of the front door.

Lodging: Find overviews of our lodging offers complete with rates, amenities, and features. Looking for a view or pet-friendly stay? Our guide will show you who to call.

Shopping: Discover local shopping, galleries, and gifts. Whether you’re looking for coastal decor or a good read while you relax, the Long Beach Peninsula has many unique shops to browse. In the visitors guide, find exactly what you’re looking for and perhaps a few surprises.

Dining: Satisfy your food cravings with our restaurant listings. Fresh seafood is, of course, a specialty around here, but you can also find everything from local craft beer to homemade baked goods on the peninsula. You’ll also find markets, cafes, and good old-fashioned burger joints. (Hey foodies! Head to for updates on what’s fresh!)

Services: Travel has a practical side. You’ll find groceries, sporting goods and equipment, gas stations, auto repair, insurance, real estate, and much more in our guide. It’s an essential whether you plan to stay for a week or forever!

Teal Slough Trail – This short trail takes you to impressive old growth that is too big to hug.

Dune Forest Loop Trail – On the north end of the peninsula, this trail takes you through Leadbetter Point State Park and gives you incredible views of Willapa Bay. This is a great place for birders! (Discover Pass required.)

Art Walk Trail – Located next to the Willapa National Wildlife Refuge headquarters, this fun, family-friendly trail has unique art installments that fit right into the landscape.
